The Galaxy contender Wild Ruler didn’t put a foot wrong in his latest barrier trial win at Canterbury on Tuesday as Snowden Racing prepare to unleash their gun colt for the first time in 2021 next week.

The son of Snitzel will line up in either the Group 2 Challenge Stakes (1000m) or Listed Fireball Stakes (1100m) at Randwick as Peter and Paul Snowden ramp up their pursuit of an all important Group 1.

Wild Ruler will get his chance to claim a major when he contests The Galaxy (1100m) on Golden Slipper day second-up on March 20.
