Godolphin trainer James Cummings says Saturday’s Group 1 TJ Smith Stakes has always been Bivouac’s autumn ‘bullseye’ and victory on Saturday could see the stallion strutting his stuff on the international stage.

The three-time Group One-winning sprinter it set to farewell the Australian racing scene at Randwick on Saturday but his performance will decide if the son of Exceed And Excel travels to Europe.

“His Easter weekend trackwork suggests a jaw-dropping effort is on the cards,” Cummings said.

“We simply couldn’t have him any better.”
