Parents of NSW flood victim Ayaz Younus forced to watch son’s burial from car window



The grieving parents of a Pakistani man who died in floodwaters in Sydney’s west have been forced to watch from a car as their son was buried.

Ayaz Younus’s father Muhammad Younus and mother Maqsooda Bibi flew from Pakistan to attend the funeral for their son on Wednesday.

The pair, who arrived in Australia over the weekend, were granted permission to leave quarantine to attend a prayer service and burial.

Younus’ three siblings, however, were denied permission to fly from Pakistan.
