Emergency response as child is hit by a car in Manly

A young boy is being treated on Sydney’s northern beaches after being hit by a car on Friday.

Emergency services were called to the scene at Pittwater Road in Manly just after 3.40pn.

The 10-year-old is being treated at the scene for suspected head injuries.

Pittwater Road is closed in both directions and diversions are in place.
